Motorsports Awareness Month

Paved roads, off road, on a track or in the water! August is Motorsports Awareness Month, giving us the perfect time to talk about some motorsports safety the importance of having insurance on all of your TOYS – Motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs and more!

Just a few safety tips for you and your vehicle of choice:

Never drink and drive – Alcohol impairs your judgement and increases the likelihood of a crash.
Wear protective gear – Protecting your body is as important as protecting your vehicle. (Helpful article on what gear you should use HERE)
Take a safety course – There are courses available for ATV rider, motorcyclists, racers and boaters. (Find information for Wisconsin Rider Courses HERE)
Watch your speed – Your speed directly affects the handling of your vehicle.
Ride within the limits of your skills – Remember your limits and don’t try stunts you aren’t skilled to handle.
